30.01.2004 Wheeeeeeeeee!

YES! Today it happens! Today my broadband connection goes live! Today I can finally play halflife online at a decent speed! Today I won't have to wait for hours for a 1Mb file to download! Yeeeeeessssssss! Am I exctited about getting broadband at home? Hell yes! I havent had a net connection at home for nearly three months now, and its kinda been slowing me down, but now finally I'll be back online!

In fact… I think having ADSL is the only thing that will save me over the coming months, as my sisters sister is coming to stay with us as she's currently between houses. That means at least a month of screaming baby waking us up in the middle of the night. Time to buy some Nightol me thinks…

29.01.2004 And then it melted…

Isnt it strange how snow can go from something so pretty to something so ugly. Lets face it, theres nothing nicer than waking up and seeing all the roads covered in snow, it just feels nice, but then after a few cars have driven on it and it all turns to brown mush its horrible. Why does nothing stay perfect? Its like a metephor for a typical relationship aint it? They start off all perfect without problems and slowly dwindle away into constant bickering, no sex and arguing over the bedding at night. Not thats theres anything wrong with my relationship or owt… Its as perfect as the driven slush. ;o)

Bored the other day, i was browsing through all the crap in my webspace and I came across this: The Crap Magic Dance!

Yup… its a bunch of crappy magicians dancing to a crappy dance track. (Strarring Tommy Cooper, David Blaine, David Copperfield, Paul Daniels and those twats with the tiger).

Wicked! In league with Andr? at Sacred Smile I've been beta testing a new photoblogging plugin for PMachine which brilliantly allows you to submit entries to your blog with attached photos in jpeg format via email. Its great, because the majority of modern camera phones come with email support as well, which means that you can blog on the move with the greatest of ease! Anyways… its the dogs danglies, and like a certain fast food joint “I'm loving it!”

27.01.2004 BroadBand Baby YEAH!

WOOO HOO! my new adsl connection goes live on Friday! After weeks of not having an active internet connection at home I'm gonna have full on 24/7 access to the web! That should mean That not only will I be able to blog more often, but I'm gonna be able to get the webcam up and running again as well! Things are going pretty well on the holiday hunt, We've tracked down a package thanks to Richard at www.oztalk.co.uk and he's sorted us a three week package that gives us access to Cairns, Brisbine and Sydney plus quality hotels and a stopover in Japan on the way home! We are looking into dropping Cairns and heading for Melbourne instead, as we've heard that 7 days will really be too as there isnt much going on in Cairns and plus Melboure apparently has loads of really cool hidden bars that are impossible to find, so that should be a challange and a half!

Anyone up for a giggle? Well if your over the age of 18 and fancy a laugh, then check out my best mates website www.cheekylemon.co.uk its full of dirty pics, funny jokes and loads more great things. Probably more suited for lads than lasses, but its a bit of fun and probably not suitable for viewing at work (unless you work for one of those groovy new media startups that spend more money on fun stuff and usually go under in less than 12 months) ;o)

I've now got one of those erricson 610i phones finally to replace my crappy nokia 3210. Its a pretty good phone, although the menus are taking some getting used to. I'm gonna try and setup PMachines moblogging feature, so expect some tiny entries soon!

On a different note, the missus bought me some new combats the otherday… People who know me know that I have a fetish for black combats and they're pretty much all I wear. You will never EVER see me in denim. EUGH! hate it. Anyways, these combats are about 3 sizes too big and really baggy, but thats how I like em, and their fine as long as I don't run around too much, otherwise they end up around me knees (which isnt pleasent in a working enviroment!).

Yes its true… I'm back, and blogging bollocks once again! )

26.01.2004 Whats new pussycat?

Well… me and the missus have decided that before we go full steam into settling down and getting a house, we're gonna travel a little bit, so we're looking into booking three weeks in austrailia which should be fun! I've been enquiring at www.oztalk.co.uk they seem to know quite a bit about the place and they've offered me a fantastic deal for three weeks in australia so I should imagine if I can raise the funds in time, I'll be sweating it out in oz by the middle of April!

I've also put a gallery up at www.greendezire.com/gallery at the moment its just got some pics from a few works do's but I plan to put many more pics up as soon as my home adsl connection is activated! (should be Friday! WOO!)

22.01.2004 About stuff…

Hmmm… looks like writing web design tips was more time consuming than I first thought… I was hoping to provide lots of useful information, but I just don't have time to get all the stuff in my head down onto paper, so I guess I'll be going back to writing loads of rubbish about my life again.

Things are going pretty well to date… the missus and me have stopped bickering, Everything seems to be going well money wise and I'm even considering either going away to australia for a few weeks or starting to save for a place of my own. What ever happens, the future is definatly looking rosie!
