As I mentioned briefly in my 100 things, I think my dad has disowned me. What makes me think that…? Well, firstly since I moved out he hasnt contacted me in any way shape or form and when I took him his fathers day present he didnt even let me into the house. OK… i put that down to his girlfriend. She's a bit of a cow and doesnt seem to like me, but surely thats no reason to block out your own child completely?
The one that really worries me is this. When I moved out 7 months ago or so, we couldnt find my birth certificate. Last week he found it, but rather than posting it to me, or bringing it over (I only live 5 minutes away) he gave it to my mum (who lives over an hours drive away!) to pass on to me.
That makes absolutly NO sense whatsoever to me.
I don't know what to do. He's obviously not interested in staying in contact with me so is there really any point in me making an effort to stay in touch? I don't really want to loose contact with my dad, but if he doesnt want to see me then surely I'm just wasting my time.
