19.07.2005 Back On Track…
Y'know, I've just been reading back through my last few months of posts, and I've really really posted absolutly nothing but absolute fucking garbage for ages. For that I guess I should apoligise but I do have an excuse. My life just got plain dull. Sad isn't it really? Well… I'm hoping that's going to change a bit. I've changed jobs which has really given me a new lease of life. I'm no longer involved with the humdrum world of webdesign on a day to day basis (although, I still describe myself as a web designer because I still use my design and development skills for my own projects). Now I'm working as a supervisor for the support department at the same company. The job's not quite so creative but comes with a lot more responsibility and also a whole heap more variety as well.
I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be going well, despite a few initial teething problems. What I like about it more, is that now I'm not doing it for a living any more, web design and development has become fun again! I've picked up on a couple of personal projects again and taken on a few freelance jobs too! So all round I'm happy. As well as that an upcoming shift change will give me more time during the day to run the day to day stuff of my business and should hopefully reduce the number of complaining emails I get. ;o)
Also, I've decided I'm going to try and get involved with this years blogathon and make it more interesting by combining a 24 hour blogathon with a 24 hour famine. It'll either be a lot of fun, or total hell. I'm predicting the latter (do caffine tablets count as food?). As soon as sponsorship pledges are available I'll let you all know. In the mean time, I'll try and start blogging some interesting shit.

04.07.2005 Introducing… ITCHY!
Here's my level 17 Orc, Itchy - complete with Guild Tabbard (Frozen Legion). I'm not going to bother posting pictures of BadMastard my Dwarf, because I've pretty much dumped him now. I've not gone as far as deleting him - YET - but I don't think it's going to be long before I do.

01.07.2005 I Hate Cybersquatters!
Why is it, that every time I have a good idea for a website, all the good related domain names are gone. I think that after registering a domain name, people should have to put it to use before they can claim a legal right to it. I don't think registering a domain should be enough… it should have to have a purpose!
