09.11.2007 Tip – Always beat Pro S.K.A.T.E challenges in EA Skate!
Do you find yourself struggling the pro S.K.A.T.E challenges in EA Skate? Well struggle no more – I’ve found an easy way to beat them nearly all of the time of the time and I can summarise it in 3 numbers – 5-4-0!
A more lengthy explanation is that to beat the pro’s, all you have to do is perform a trick that they can’t possibly do but you can land every time, the good old 540 spin. To perform the 540, simply push off twice, do your standard flip trick (or normal ollie/nollie) and then immediately push BOTH of your sticks in the same direction (left or right). This will give you the extra 180 degrees to turn your 360 into a 540 and for some reason, the pro’s just never seem to be able to land a 540 without bailing or screwing up the trick!
Of course, this does rely on the Pro fouling up so that you can lead the way, but they do this surprisingly often, and if they don’t then don’t worry – you just go again, sooner or later they WILL screw up, and using this foolproof method you can always beat them.
This tip should work on both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of Skate.

lol this way is good but the best way i found, is to do the easy tricks, i do 3 normal ollie tricks, (kick flip 180, heel flip 360) easy enough so you don’t mistakenly do the same 1 twice then go and do three nollie tricks just to help you not do the same trick by mistake, do this and the pro will mess up on easy tricks, like a smile noile. but anywho i found this because i cant get my achievement for beating all the pros
how many are there? because the last pro i beat was the small guy with the big black guy, then i beat him at skate but didn’t get the achievement :S theres no pros in the legend on my map so theres no 1 else to beat :S

I sure hope that one of these two methods work to win every time, I have been struggling with some of the S.K.A.T.E. challenges, and I hope I will be able to do either the easy tricks then nollie tricks or the 540.

I’ve competed EA’s Skate (gamertag – Black Senate) but I don’t have the “Beat the Pro’s” achievement despite beating ALL the bloomin pro’s!!! very frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas as to why?

This does work. Before I stumbled onto this website, I’ve been looking for the Pros after beating them in the Pro S.K.A.T.E. challenges. Do you know where they are?

yo there is no acheiviment for beating all the pro’s but it does contribute to all of ur milestones. the beat all the pro acheivment is just do all the pro challenges.

lol i figured this out on accident like 3 months ago. just tweak ur tricks the same way ur spinning and u can do 1080’s in the mega no problem. i even got on 1260 once

This does work, but I must say poppin 540’s all the time isn’t allot of fun.
It is however not too hard to get these challenges.
Simply wait for the person to fall and just do random tricks, he will fall eventually.
SO it’s not how hard your trick is, It’s how long you can outtrick the other.
