29.02.2008 Microsoft, You Nasty Bastards!
I really can’t quite believe this, guy gets his Xbox360 signed by a bunch of famous people from the gaming community, even gets custom artwork drawn on the case. Xbox breaks (no surprise there) and Microsoft agents promise not to damage the case if he ships it in for repair and return the same case in it’s original condition.
A few weeks later the Xbox is returned, repaired working and *shock horror* carefully cleaned – almost all traces of the carefully collected signatures and artwork have been deliberately stripped from the case, just a few smudges remained.
I could kind of understand it if they had shipped a whole replacement machine, but someone has DELIBERATELY removed artwork and signatures that are obviously of some value whether, sentimental, monetary or otherwise. MS – you really dropped the ball on this one. I’m posting this in the hope that it raises the profile of the problem and someone at MS finds out who did it and gives and apology and some kind of compensation to the poor guy.
