09.03.2009 Oh! What’s Occuring?
I’ll tell you what’s occurring – the 2009 Red Nose Day single ‘(Barry) Islands in the Stream‘ by Nessa and Bryn (featuring Tom Jones) from Gavin and Stacy is now available on the iTunes store. It’s an awesome album and I shall tell you for why – £1.99 gets you three tracks and the full music video for ‘(Barry) Islands in the Stream’ and it raises money for Comic Relief!
As well as the video and single version of Islands, you also get Nessa and Uncle Bryn doing an acapella cover of ‘Something Stupid’ and a totally lush acoustic cover of James Blunt’s ‘Wiseman’ by Bryn. I’m not being funny – but if you don’t get off your butts and go buy this then I shall have to send Nessa round to sort you out! Off to buy it? Tidy!

Well, it’s been quite some time since I launched a new web project just for the hell of it, so last week I decided to get my coding hands back out of the box and give them a thorough workout.
I’ve had an idea for a while now to create a simple online weight monitoring tool that allows people to simply add their weight and see it charted in an easy to follow graph. It’s a proven fact that people that actively monitor their weight loss are more likely to stick to their diet and lose the weight.
Since I’ve been on a diet myself (trying to halt the middle age spread before I hit middle age!), I decided to create a tool that would help me and others to monitor my weight loss online and so WeightMonkey was born! It’s completely free too! Give it a try today!
